Dr Vorster Went to...
The Pistorius trial to try and convince the Court (after having been paid a tidy sum for sure) that poor Pistorius suffers from anxiety - I'll bet he does - brought on after realising he will be going to prison for a very long time, for the shooting and killing of Miss Reeva Steenkamp.
And it will come as no surprise to anyone that his absent father and his dead mother are responsible for his anxiety, oh and the high levels of crime in South Africa, his loneliness, worrying about his sister's safety, the safety of his family...the security of his home, about being followed...
The usual stuff that psychiatrists and psychologists come up with when paid to put together a report.
Pistorius just another one who will not take responsibility for his actions and will lie and cheat, do anything, blame anyone, or anything, to get out of it.
Dr Vorster was hardly in Witness Box when Roux requested a tea break - a stiff drink at the bar is probably what he really feels like, after Dixon, Wolmarans and now Dr Vorster...
And don't you just know that Gerrie Nel is going to take Dr Vorster apart too - this guy, Pistorius the good Dr said suffers from anxiety fears violence against him, armed himself with a gun for this reason, fears for his safety when in his home, yet who had a broken window at his home for some time, which he didn't bother to have repaired, who left a ladder he said lying outside his home in his garden, who wasn't sure if his alarm system/lighting was in full working order...oh we could go on and on, and not forgetting Pistorius testified that he was not bullied or teased at school, but was accepted - that's not what the good Dr has said...oopsy
Oh and he is hyper-vigilant - which in psychiatric gobbledegook means in the case of Pistorius he takes great care about safety issues around his home...
Oopsy...that broken window, ladder, lighting...
I'm not a professional quack - but that doesn't sound like a case of hyper vigilance to me!
Oh and Pistorius is someone who has a 'fight response' and not a flight response. As he has not the capacity to FLIGHT, he FIGHTS.
What a load of bunkum. If he stayed and fought in any situation he was easily pushed over as the good Dr also said.
Cannot wait for Gerrie Nel to cross examine!
